NevadaNano’s MPS Gas Sensors were designed to be fully compliant with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU that covers equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive conditions. Our sensors implement the latest technology to conform to these requirements in a way that ensures essential health and safety for all operators.

Due to our compliance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, our sensors are approved for use in all countries of the European Union, as well as any other countries that apply the directive’s requirement.

Classifications Approved

The NevadaNano MPS Gas Sensors cover the following elements in each region:

In North America, our sensors are FM approved in the US and Canada, including Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, and D, and Classes II and III, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G. This designation cover areas such as:

  • Where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids exist all of the time or some of the time under normal operating conditions.
  • Where easily ignitable fibers are stored, produced, handled, or manufactured.
  • Where ignitable concentrations of combustible dust are present continuously or for long periods of time under normal operating conditions.

IECEx and ATEX certification extend to use in all places, except for underground mines, where the equipment is intended for use in areas where an explosive atmosphere composed of flammable gases are present continuously, for long periods, or frequently, or where combustible dust is present in the atmosphere.

Additional Certifications

Hazloc certification has been obtained for our customers in North America – ensuring that NevadaNano’s equipment delivers the safety, reliability, and compliance that all of our North American customers have come to expect.

NevadaNano’s compliance with these standards – along with its commitment to exceeding the bare minimum with regard to the standards – affirms its commitment to products that comply with the very latest quality, safety, and technical standards worldwide.

What Makes the MPS Sensors Different?

The MPS Sensor Family delivers next-generation multi-gas accuracy for safe operation. Disrupting the Industrial Safety, HVAC, Oil and Gas, as well other markets and applications, the MPS offers the first new technology to these industries in over 40 years.

Implementing devices from the MPS Sensor Family ensures that you will minimize the likelihood of any negative results from risk assessments. Our equipment, including NevadaNano’s MPS gas sensors, is intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, but the protective systems intended to keep our customers safe adhere to the strictest manufacturing requirements.

These essential health and safety measures are built into the core of our business model – we design products that are accurate, reliable, and safe to use even in the presence of combustible dust and flammable gas mists.

We understand there are a lot of competitors to choose from, which is why our commitment to quality and safety is so crucial. We’re one step ahead of our rivals, which means you receive top-notch equipment that is safe and reliable.

About NevadaNano MPS Gas Sensors

The MPS Gas Sensors automatically and accurately detects and classifies 12 different flammable gases with high accuracy, eliminating the need for expensive manual field calibration processes or re-programming for different gases.

In addition, the sensors are inherently immune to drift and poisoning, thus allowing the original factory calibration to provide high accuracy readings for many years and saving the high cost of frequent calibration and/or replacement.

As the world’s first smart flammable gas sensors, they provide accurate readings even when exposed to rapid temperature and humidity changes, unlike other sensors that may temporarily shut down when faced with common environmental changes. These new capabilities eliminate false positives, nuisance alarms and false-negatives providing improved ease of use and safety for users.

Equipped with built-in environmental monitoring, the advanced algorithms of the MPS enable accurate results in temperatures from -40˚C to 75˚C, relative humidity ranging from 0 to 99%, and atmospheric pressures from 80 to 120 kPa making the MPS sensors ready to plug and play for the most demanding applications.

Our customers can expect gas sensors that will only deliver the latest and greatest in safety and health standards
