Sparks, NV, October 29, 2024 – NevadaNano is excited to announce the integration of its MPS™ Flammable Gas Sensor into Flyability’s Elios 3 drone. This partnership combines NevadaNano’s cutting-edge sensor technology with Flyability’s pioneering drone solutions to enhance safety in hazardous environments.
The MPS™ sensor detects over a dozen combustible gases with unparalleled precision and resilience. Designed to operate in extreme conditions, it provides real-time data, enabling safe and accurate monitoring in industries such as oil and gas, power generation, and mining.
The collaboration between NevadaNano and Flyability in the Elios 3 will help pilots fly more safely while gathering data during inspections in confined spaces by giving them an increased awareness of the atmospheric conditions and real-time warnings capability.
“We are proud to partner with Flyability to set new safety standards,” said Karl Roberts, European Sales Director. “Our sensor’s real-time gas detection offers crucial protection in high-risk areas such as confined spaces in which the Elios 3 drone will operate.”
“The new sensor is a way for us to help pilots of the Elios 3 fly more safely. When our drones are flown into hazardous spaces they can be faced with combustible atmospheres that are not easy to detect from outside. The flammable gas sensor means that we can give pilots real-time awareness they fly in complex environments – and help make their missions safer.” – Patrick Thévoz, CEO of Flyability
