NevadaNano Unveils MethaneTrack™ 2.0 — Automated Methane Emissions Monitoring That Cuts Costs & Boosts Compliance

Advanced Automation Driving Next-Generation Methane Monitoring

Sparks, Nevada – November 3, 2025 — NevadaNano today announced the release of MethaneTrack™ 2.0, the next generation of its widely adopted methane emission detection and management platform. Already deployed across 22 countries and used by some of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, MethaneTrack 2.0 introduces major hardware and software advancements that further reduce the cost of methane emissions monitoring and compliance, while helping users meet or exceed their emission reduction objectives.

At the core of MethaneTrack™ 2.0 is a suite of enhancements designed to lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and automate every phase of Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) programs. The new release includes:

  • Variable leak rate reporting for more accurate tracking of total methane emissions.
  • Field data entry for seamless integration with OGMP 2.0–compliant emission factors.
  • Expanded automated reporting to streamline Net Zero progress tracking across operations.
  • First-in-industry support for hydrogen and hydrogen-methane blend systems, enabling comprehensive tracking in both natural gas and CO₂e formats.

Together, these capabilities simplify methane inventory management, reduce regulatory and compliance costs, and unlock financial opportunities such as carbon credit generation and methane intensity benchmarking.

With MethaneTrack™, your data is protected by our commitment to the highest standards of security, availability, and confidentiality in managing customer data across our SaaS platform, including SOC 2 certification.

NevadaNano was recently honored to have MethaneTrack™ spotlighted in AT&T’s Gigaton Initiative, which recognizes technologies that help customers reduce emissions through advanced connectivity. As part of this effort, AT&T engaged the Carbon Trust, a global climate consultancy, to independently verify the emissions reductions enabled by solutions like MethaneTrack™.

“At AT&T, our goal is to enable resource efficiency and the reduction of one billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions by 2035 through the power of connectivity. NevadaNano’s MethaneTrack™ solution, powered by AT&T, directly supports this mission—helping operators reduce revenue loss from leaks, maintain compliance, and lower environmental impact,” said Shannon Carroll, AVP of Global Environmental Sustainability at AT&T.

MethaneTrack™ 2.0 also introduces three new measurement algorithms that improve sensor performance and reliability. These innovations reduce power consumption for extended battery life, enhance resistance to environmental shocks, and maintain precise readings under extreme field conditions (–40°C to +75°C, 0–100% RH). The result is longer service life, greater measurement confidence, and an even lower total cost of ownership.

“NevadaNano is helping operators worldwide reduce the cost of emissions detection and remediation, and accelerate their progress toward Net Zero,” said Ian Rogoff, CEO of NevadaNano.

With MethaneTrack™ 2.0, NevadaNano continues to set the standard for automated emissions detection, LDAR efficiency, and carbon accounting—delivering intelligent solutions that help energy operators minimize emissions, reduce costs, and achieve measurable environmental and financial performance.
