NevadaNano Introduces MethaneTrack™ 3.0

Enhanced analytics, event investigation, prioritized alerts and automated reporting help operators manage methane emissions from individual assets to enterprise-wide performance

RENO, Nev., Nov. 2, 2026 — NevadaNano today announced MethaneTrack™ 3.0, the latest evolution of its continuous methane emissions monitoring system. Combining enhanced dashboard analytics and reporting with the latest-generation Leak Source Isolation™ (LSI™) technology, MethaneTrack™ 3.0 gives operations and environmental teams a single place to understand emissions, investigate events, prioritize action and document performance across their assets.

The release builds on NevadaNano’s continuous emissions monitoring deployments across more than 500 sites in 22 countries. MethaneTrack™ combines intrinsically safe wireless endpoint detectors, wind measurements and cloud-based analytics to continuously detect, localize and quantify methane emissions across onshore and offshore operations.

“Operators need more than an alert that methane is present. They need to understand where emissions are coming from, how they are changing and which events require attention first,” said Ian Rogoff, CEO of NevadaNano. “MethaneTrack 3.0 brings that information together with the historical data and reporting tools teams need to establish a baseline, track improvements and manage emissions across their operations.”

Clearer Visibility and Better-Informed Action

MethaneTrack™ 3.0 helps teams move from enterprise-level visibility to detailed investigation of individual emission events. A KPI view organizes active events by severity and carbon dioxide equivalent (CO₂e), helping users identify where attention is needed.

Enhanced event visualization and time-series analysis provide greater insight into leak behavior, with average, maximum and hourly leak-rate data available as separate points of analysis. Clearer classifications and granular alert thresholds help teams prioritize response and automatically notify the appropriate personnel.

Together, these capabilities give operators the context to investigate events, direct maintenance resources and make better-informed decisions using continuously collected emissions data.

Establishing Baselines and Simplifying Reporting

Expanded reporting capabilities help organizations establish a measurement-based methane emissions baseline, analyze historical trends and track progress over time. Flexible filtering in the Emissions Summary Report allows teams to focus on selected sites, regions, assets and reporting periods, reducing the effort required to consolidate data for different stakeholders.

Equipment Uptime reports document monitoring continuity and help identify potential gaps in data coverage. By maintaining emissions records alongside evidence of monitoring-system operation, MethaneTrack™ provides important context for operational, corporate and regulatory reporting.

Detection Intelligence Backed by Controlled-Release Testing

MethaneTrack™ 3.0 incorporates the latest-generation LSI™ models for methane detection, source localization and quantification. These models build on experience from global deployments and an expanded body of controlled-release data.

For the past nine months, MethaneTrack™ has been deployed at the Methane Emissions Technology Evaluation Center (METEC) at Colorado State University. Testing has included controlled gas releases from multiple equipment types at rates ranging from 0.1 to 25 kg/h, with varying release durations and environmental conditions.

In a 12-week controlled-release study at METEC, MethaneTrack™ detected 100% of leaks above 0.6 kg/h with zero false positives.

Purpose-Built for Industrial Operations

MethaneTrack™ uses Close-Proximity Continuous Monitoring™ (CPCM™), placing wireless endpoint detectors on or near potential emission sources. Certified for Class I, Division 1 and Zone 0 hazardous locations, the endpoints enable continuous monitoring close to operating equipment without extensive wiring infrastructure.

With a five-year battery life, no required field calibration and operation from –40°C to 75°C and up to 100% relative humidity, the endpoints are designed for long-term deployment in harsh and difficult-to-access environments.
