NevadaNano and Teledyne Gas & Flame Collaborate to Support Oil & Gas Supermajor’s Methane Reduction Goals

More than 10,000 MethaneTrack™ sensors deployed on upstream onshore and offshore assets to enable real-time emissions monitoring

Sparks, NV – May 30, 2025 – NevadaNano, a global leader in gas detection technology, announced today its continued collaboration with Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection to support one of the world’s leading Oil & Gas Supermajors in its drive to achieve a 50% reduction in methane emissions by 2024 — a full year ahead of schedule — and an ambitious 80% reduction by 2030.

As part of this ongoing initiative, NevadaNano and Teledyne have deployed over 10,000 MethaneTrack™ emissions monitoring sensors across the Supermajor’s upstream operations, including both onshore and offshore sites. These deployments are part of the foundation of a strategic plan to eliminate routine flaring, halt venting, and repair leaks immediately upon detection.

“We are proud to play a role in one of the most comprehensive and forward-looking methane mitigation efforts in the energy sector,” said Ian Rogoff, CEO of NevadaNano. “This collaboration demonstrates what’s possible when advanced sensing technology, strong partnerships, and bold climate goals align.”

The MethaneTrack™ platform provides continuous, real-time monitoring of methane emissions with pinpoint localization and quantification capabilities. The data generated is used to guide operational responses, reduce leak duration, and support regulatory compliance frameworks such as OGMP 2.0.

Key Milestones

  • 10,000+ sensors deployed in partnership with Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection
  • 50% methane emissions reduction, achieved a year ahead of 2025 target
  • Full-scale system deployment to be completed by the end of 2025

The Oil & Gas Supermajor has publicly committed to achieving near-zero methane emissions by 2030. This partnership forms a vital part of the company’s broader climate and sustainability roadmap.

NevadaNano remains committed to supporting energy companies worldwide with scalable, accurate, and durable emissions monitoring solutions — enabling smarter decisions, faster responses, and measurable environmental outcomes.
